Hearing Loss – Work Comp Claim

The years of sirens, gunfire and radios did take a toll on the hearing of many of our members and you may have a claim and be able to get the city help pay for hearing aids.

Nancy Spaniola of JI Compnaies (800-580-5477) indicated that retirees may go ahead and get their hearing exams to save time.  Nancy's company is contracted by the city to handle work comp claims by city employees. 

If you think you have a claim after being tested:

If you have NOT filed a claim with APD you should contact APD DWCR through the City of Austin to report the claim.
